After-school-care Teacher

Do you enjoy working with pre-school children in a fun & creative environment?

We are looking for a candidate with love, patience and compassion for children, their developmental and learning process. Our goal is to help children develop strong social-emotional, physical, cognitive and language skills in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The ideal candidate is a high school student looking for part-time work 3-5 days a week between 3pm and 6pm. Other applicants looking for part-time work are also encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the classroom and help in creating fun & interactive learning experiences as well as keep the classroom clean and organized.
• Serve as mentor.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing organization standards.
• Communicate directly with parents and the administrative staff to achieve success for the children.

REQUIREMENTS:

• AGE : 14 years or older and enrolled in high school or equivalent.

• Some experience working with young children
• Be available for classroom help for 2-5 days a week from 3pm-6pm
• Have reliable transportation
• Must pass a DEL background check
• Having CPR, BBP, Food Handling certificates is a bonus

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 /hour
