My name is Sweta Patel, and I will be the lead toddler teacher for your child’s classroom. I am very much excited to meet all of your little ones as I believe that teaching little one’s is most rewarding job in my life. First, I would like to provide some background information about myself. I have been teacher for 3 years. This is my 4th year working as a child care center teacher. I have taught all the age groups from 0-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years and 3-4 years age groups. I earned my degree in B.Sc. on Foods and Nutrition, PostGraduation Diploma in Dietetics from India and currently I am holding my CDA Certification from Rasmussen College. My 3 years of experience in teaching have helped me develop a set of beliefs about how I can best help children learn and grow. I believe that in order to effectively teach the children I must know as much about them as possible. Therefore, I will look forward to getting to know you and your family.
This is my second year at Synergy. I am a Physics graduate, and I completed my Montessori training in Singapore. I have worked in India and Singapore in leading international schools for more than eight years. Moving to Seattle from Helsinki in 2015, I am still exploring this beautiful place. My hobbies include reading, hiking and travelling.
With a teaching experience of over eight years, and working with children of varying age groups and backgrounds, I can easily relate to them and enjoy going through the learning experience with them. Each child is unique and brings their talents, experiences and personality to share in our classroom. My aim is to help meet their needs by emphasising the Montessori principle of “helping to do it alone” Learning is a journey and I hope to develop a passion for learning, discovery & innovation in young minds.
My name is Dhanya Mohan and I am an assistant teacher at Synergy Learning Academy. I have done my Masters in Mathematics and Bachelors in Education from the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India.
I believe all kids deserve to have a safe educational environment to learn and grow in. And I am passionate to nurture the budding minds by understanding their individual needs and interests.
I have been employed with Synergy Learning Academy for over a year. I believe that this center is a wonderful spot for your child to begin their education both academically and emotionally. We are a great team with incredible passion for each individual child. I feel very proud and lucky to be part of such a great group of teachers.
I feel that they allow you to be yourself and to get in touch with your inner child. I am very happy to be part of the Synergy Learning Academy family. I am dedicated to the social and emotional development of each child and make it my goal to make sure that each child receives the best care and love that they all deserve.
I am very proud of my little ones every day and am very happy to be their teacher and to be given the opportunity to watch them grow.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two boys (Adhrit, 5, and Adhvik, 3), and husband as we knock things off our very long bucket list. Along with that I love to watch cookery shows.

This will be my 1 st year teaching in Synergy but my 4th year as Lead Teacher in Montessori classroom. I am looking forward to having a wonderful school year with you and your child! I believe that communication between us is the key to your child’s success and a great parent/teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. Please feel free to email me but first, I would like to share few things about myself.
It has been 1 7 years since I came to US. I am a BA English literature graduate and I graduated my Montessori teacher training in 2009 in Washington.
I firmly believe in the Montessori principle that a child starts to concentrate as soon as they find something that interests them. My aim therefore is to provide a safe environment where your child can independently explore the real world. I consider my class to be successful when the kids in the classroom are functioning and learning independently as if I did not exist.
The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.”
— Maria Montessori
